Contracts and Invoicing

Signing Contracts

Your signature indicating approval, along with an initial payment, is required for Eagle Soars Consulting to begin work. Upon signing of the proposal, please fax a copy to us at 866-525-1402 and then mail the original with the initial payment outlined in the proposal.  When we receive the faxed copy of the proposal, we’ll send you a welcome email along with a project production schedule. However, work will not begin until the initial payment is received and processed.

You will be invoiced according to the terms and conditions outlined in the proposal you signed. All invoices are due within fifteen (15) days of receipt. After fifteen (15) days, unpaid invoices will be charged a finance charge in the amount of 18% per year or a flat fee of $29 (whichever is greater). Invoices not paid within sixty (60) days will be sent out for collection.

We accept checks, money orders, and Mastercard and Visa Debit/Credit Cards. If you would like to pay by Debit/Credit Card, please contact us for a “Debit/Credit Card Release” form so we may process your payment.

We are a “green” company and send all our invoices by email. While it may not be the norm for many businesses, we think it’s important to do our part to save trees and fuel by not using regular mail for sending something that can be transmitted electronically.

Performance of Services

Eagle Soars Consulting will perform all services outlined in your contract in a professional manner in accordance with best prevailing industry standards.

You should expect that any information or material provided will be treated confidentially and that all reasonable efforts will be taken to safeguard it.  If requested, we can provide and will willingly sign a nondisclosure agreement.

Eagle Soars Consulting’s final output becomes your property after receipt of final payment, except where otherwise indicated.  However, all preparatory materials (sketches, concepts not utilized, artwork, mechanical files, computer files, etc.) remain the property of Eagle Soars Consulting.

It is the client’s sole responsibility to review all material before production and to attest to its accuracy.  Eagle Soars Consulting will not be responsible for production errors that were approved by the client.

In accordance with accepted professional services practice, the client is financially obligated for work done, whether or not it is utilized.  In the event of dissatisfaction, Eagle Soars Consulting will attempt to reconcile the differences.  In the event, there is no reconciliation, Eagle Soars Consulting will resign from the project.

Recurring Contracts

For clients with recurring monthly marketing contracts, you will be required to make payments on the 1st day of every month by credit/debit card. When you receive a proposal from Eagle Soars Consulting, you will also receive a “Debit/Credit Card Release” form. This form must be completed and returned with your signed proposal.  We will then process your debit/credit card information as a recurring billing where the payment will be processed automatically on the 1st day of every month. If you order additional services during a month, you will receive a regular invoice and will have the option to pay for that invoice by credit/debit card or check.

Estimates and Pricing

Eagle Soars Consulting will make one (1) free, introductory visit to a prospective client.  Subsequent calls will be part of a billable assignment, unless both parties agree otherwise.

Eagle Soars Consulting has set standard prices for our products and services and we remain firm on the prices quoted.  With each proposal, we talk with you to identify your project goals and objectives and then create a detailed scope of work.  If the pricing doesn’t fit into your budget, we review the scope of work with you and discuss how we may modify it to fit into your budget.

We don’t undercut pricing to get a project and then issue change orders.  The only time pricing is changed is when you change the scope of work.  In those cases, we will provide you with a new proposal and will secure your approval before starting any new work.  We believe this policy allows us to be a good steward of our talents while letting you know our pricing is fair and honest from the start.

All pricing is determined based on your specific marketing or training needs.  We listen to your needs before we develop a detailed cost proposal.  The proposal will identify the scope of work, pricing, payment requirements and special terms and conditions.  All pricing is standard and firm from the time you receive our proposal and up to sixty (60) days following.

We are a “green” company and send all our proposals through email or an electronic signature service. While it may not be the norm for businesses, we think it’s important to do our part to save trees and fuel by not using regular mail for sending something that can be transmitted electronically.

Your signature indicating approval, along with a deposit payment, is required for Eagle Soars Consulting to begin work.  Once accepted, we will not exceed the price quoted in our proposal unless you modify the scope of work.  In that event, we will submit a new proposal and will secure your approval prior to proceeding with the new work.

Speculative Work

Work will not be done “on speculation,” (i.e. to have the assignment contingent upon approval of the work). Speculative work is subject to widespread abuse, increases prices, and is considered unprofessional in the industry.
